Dr Steven Haas Dr. Steven B. Haas received his education and training at Harvard, Cornell and the University of Rochester. He is Chief of the Knee Service at Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Haas speaks extensively both nationally and internationally on knee topics, and has authored more than 100 publications in the orthopedic literature. Dr. Haas has received numerous patents for innovative High Performance Knee Replacement designs that move more naturally than previous knee implants. Cutting-edge technologies employed by Dr. Haas include robotic-assisted replacement, patient-specific instrumentation and accelerometer-based computer navigation. Dr. Haas also performs minimally invasive robotic-assisted partial knee replacement. |

Dr David Rovinsky Dr. David Rovinsky is an orthopedist in Lihue, Hawaii and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Wilcox Medical Center. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Rovinsky worked in the computer software industry and he has devoted his career to the integration of technology to orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Rovinsky helped develop the NAVIO Robotic System for Partial and Total Knee Replacement and was the first in Hawaii to do a robotic assisted total knee replacement.
