This educational module regroups the essentials on balancing the knee in TKA. Achieving the appropriate soft-tissue tension is a critical success factor for clinical outcomes in total knee replacement surgery (TKA). Clinical outcome of TKA can be very much related to achieving alignment and stability.
Experienced international orthopedic surgeons specialized in total knee arthroplasty present and debate different approaches and related surgical techniques on how to balance the ligaments in total knee arthroplasty.
