Dr David Flanigan
United States of America

Dr David Flanigan is the Director of the Cartilage Restoration Program at Ohio State University and is the Athletics Team Physician. He is fellowship-trained and certified in sports medicine and now specializes in sports-related injuries. His practice is primarily focused on the lower extremity injuries and knee injuries (anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, reconstructions and revisions, meniscal injuries, repair and transplantation, multi-ligament injuries, cartilage injuries and restorative procedures, patella instability corrective surgeries, and ligament and tendon tears). He was the proud recipient of the Richard O’Connor Award.

Dr C. Ryan Martin
Canada

Dr C. Ryan Martin completed his Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery - Cornell University (New York, NY) and his Sport Medicine and Arthroscopy Fellowship at the University of Toronto (Toronto, ON). His practice is centered out of the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, AB. While running a busy Level 1 trauma practice he has focused on the arthroscopic treatment of traumatic knee conditions involving fractures as well as cartilage and ligament injuries. He also serves as an Orthopaedic Surgeon for the Calgary Stampeders Football Club and Calgary Flames. Additionally, he works as a consulting medical illustrator.

Dr Camilo Helito, PhD, Prof
Brazil

Dr Camilo Helito attended Medical School, Orhopaedic Residency, Fellowship training, and completed his PhD and post-PhD at University of São Paulo, Brazil. Currently works as an Associate Professor at University of São Paulo treating mainly complex knee pathologies. Research focused on soft tissue knee reconstruction, including ACL, ALL and multi-ligament knee injuries and also revision knee arthroplasty. He has authored more than 100 scientific articles in national and international indexed journals, with a main focus on reconstruction of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament and Anterolateral Ligament, multiligament injuries, meniscus injuries and knee arthroplasty.
