What you will learn
- Explain the classification of open fractures
- Evaluate the importance of antibiotics, including appropriate timing and selection
- Recall the principles of diaphyseal fracture management for optimal surgical outcome
- Comprehend the considerations of the fracture and various assessments for that fracture.
- Early management of articular fractures (degree of bone and soft tissue injury, residual malalignment, ligamentous instability, articular surface defects)
