The symposium "How can shared care impact lower leg ulceration healing?" brings together healthcare professionals to explore the integration of shared care in the treatment of lower leg ulcers. Experts including Jacqui Fletcher and Dr. Gabriela Illes will discuss the importance of early intervention, patient care consistency, and innovative healing pathways without the use of antibiotics.

Through theory and practice, including insights from Bernadette McGlynn, Jackie Dark, and Profesor Amit Gefen, the symposium aims to enhance patient quality of life by promoting evidence-based care pathway implementation and evaluating the benefits of sNPWT under compression in improving patient healing outcomes.

This course focuses on recognising the signs and symptoms of venous leg ulcers and the factors that contribute to them.

Over the course of three microlearnings, the learner will discover how to manage it and the associated assessments. A fourth and final module is an assessment to check your knowledge.
