Introduction

The Ortho Case Insight Series features case-based orthopedic trauma education from Dr Sean Campbell, highlighting surgical decision-making, technique considerations, and clinical insights for managing complex fractures.

In this episode, Dr Campbell presents three challenging periarticular fracture cases treated using the EVOS◊ SMALL Plating System. Through detailed case reviews, Dr Campbell shares his surgical decision-making, reduction strategies, fixation techniques, and reconstruction approaches for complex periarticular injuries.

The EVOS SMALL Plating System is indicated for fixation of small and long bone fractures in adult and pediatric patients. Its low profile system of plates and screws are designed to give stability where needed and flexibility where wanted.
